Hey!
I’m Malavika, a Product Manager at Microsoft. I graduated Columbia University in 2020 with a degree in Computer Science, concentrating in Intelligent Systems.
How did I get here?
Growing up I never wanted to be siloed into a particular path. I enjoyed math and thinking logically, but also appreciated the sciences and humanities, subject matter that taught me from an early age how to think analytically, critically, and break down ambiguous problems into multiple components. I learned how to make complexity digestible. In some vein, this gravitated me towards product management. A field where I can dip my toes in different problem spaces: I can be a designer, creator, and facilitator. Ultimately, I'm interesting in driving clarity and solving complex problems.
